ASTM B392 NIOBIUM BARS ALLOY
Niobium adalah warna kelabu kelabu kelabu berkilat logam refraktori yang jarang berlaku, titik lebur 2467 ℃, ketumpatan 8.6g/cm3. Niobium mempunyai kepekaan suhu rendah yang baik, boleh ditekan sejuk dan diproses ke dalam pelbagai bentuk plat, wayar dan produk rod. Niobium mempunyai kekuatan dan keupayaan yang tinggi, di atas 1000 ℃ masih mempunyai kekuatan yang cukup, keplastikan dan kekonduksian terma. Superconductivity pada suhu yang sangat rendah adalah yang terbaik, seperti di minus 260 darjah Celsius apabila rintangan hampir sifar, kini merupakan bahan superconducting yang paling penting.
